That's right, Las Vegas Entertainment have combined 2 fun events, Live Stand up Comedy and Speed Dating into 1 wild night of love and laughs!

Now you can mingle with up to 10 potential dates and be entertainment by some of Sydney's funniest stand up comics, all in one super fast and super funny speed dating show. No app or phone required. Get yo love thing on and meet real singles in person at Caringbah Hotel  Join a room of like-mined singles and get around 10 mini speed-dates!

Live stand up comedy is a great nerve relaxer and ice-breaker. We kick off each date with 3 mins of laughs, leaving you 4 mins to chat and find out if a connection is there. Enjoy your first drink on us, in a chilled and relaxed social atmosphere. We suggest booking your seat asap, they are limited. Early booking discount available.

Here's how it works:

- Arrive 20-25 mins before the event starts, giving you time to relax those nerves, mingle and grab your complimentary 1st drink. - Quick check in at our reception desk and receive your name tag, date match cards and free Drink Voucher.  - 20 min relax, grab a drink, take a deep breath period before Comedy speed dating starts - Our guest MC will keep the night flowing - Balanced mix of men & women so the event flows naturally.

- Ladies will be seated at a numbered table, where they will remain throughout the entire session. Men will change seats after every 7 mins (4 mins of Chat and 3 mins of stand up comedy)

- Use your 4 mins to get to know each other, engage in conversation and see if there is a spark or connection. Of course with speed dating, you have limited time with each date, so make the most of that time by coming prepared with interesting topics and finding out about your date

- After each date, ladies and men, will mark their date cards with a YES ( There is a connection) or NO ( there is no connection)

- After the final date, you may stay an mingle, lots of people do!

- No need to panic, date cards won't be tallied and everyone not notified of their matches until 18hrs later, you can relax and mingle without worry. Note only dates that have both agreed to re-connect again or have matched on their date cards, will receive contact details from the other party. If you didn't match with anyone on the night, you will not receive any contact information from any of the singles on the night.

Frequently Asked Questions

If I'm slightly older or younger then the listed date range, am I still ok to attend? 

Our Comedy Speed dating events are designed specially for the listed age groups, our show manager is pretty particular about that, please stick to the event catering to your age group. Please have a valid photo ID with you, encase one is requested.

What if I can't attend but have a friend who can, can  I transfer my ticket?

Of course. If they are of the same sex and fit within your booked dating age group, Send us an email at auscomfilm@yahoo.com.au  Make sure you include your booking name and details plus their full name, age and contact details as well. Transfers allowed up to 3 days prior to the actual event.

How are matches selected?

After the event, log in to Encounter Match and select who you would like to see again. If they have also selected you, your preferred contact details will be shared with each other instantly on the My Matches page. You will have 24hrs to select your matches after the event.

Do many people attend by themselves?

Many of the guests at our events come by themselves as they don't always have a single friend available to bring along with them. You are actually more approachable when you are by yourself compared to being with a friend at a singles event.

What type of people go to your events?

Our events attract a lot of quality singles who are over online dating and are now wanting to meet singles in real life at fun social events outside of their usual group of friends and work colleagues.

What should I wear to the event?

Dress to impress - First impressions really do count! We recommend dressing up and wearing something that you would wear on a first date.

Is there a Restaurant or Bistro there to have a meal before or after the event?

Yes, All of our Venues offer a full menu for a complete meal or a quick snack before or after the event. We suggest, arriving at least 60 mins prior to the start of the event if you would like to have a meal before. the event starts. 

Is Parking available?

Yes, parking is located directly behind the venue and on connecting side streets

If I cancel, can I get a refund?

We don't offer refunds for change of mind, no show or causing a problem at the event, however, if you notify us a minimum of 7 days prior to the event, we can offer you a credit towards a future event. No credit will be offered if less than 7 days prior to the event date. We recommend checking you schedule prior to booking to avoid any issues. You can contact us at auscomfilm@yahoo.com.au at least 7 days before the event to receive a 6 month transfer credit towards a future event.
